Hiho, hiho, it's off to Wales I go!

So for my Population Medicine and Veterinary Public Health rotation we had to head to Carmarthernshire, Wales. It was a beautiful location, and we were lucky to have some pretty amazing weather while we were there. We spent a lot of time going from farm to farm, to assess health issues such as lameness and body condition, as well as collect various samples such as blood and milk. We even got to visit {KidMeNot}, a goat farm!

We had one weekend off, so we decided to visit some castles, Pendine Sands beach, and a few small town pubs along the way. One of the funniest moments of the trip is when Jamie's GPS took us across a ford (aka low water crossing). We weren't sure weather or not her little car would make it, but with our fingers crossed, and some starting space, we made it! All in all, it was a good trip, and I definitely recommend a visit to the Welsh country side!
